Ausgeschrieben sind drei Sparten für Papierbilder: Thema frei: Monochrom /Farbe und Thema: Welt des Sports. Jeder Autor darf maximal 4 Bilder pro Sparte einsenden.
Die Jury, für das freie Thema bestehend aus: Heinz Beste(D), Yves Bassi (L) und Daniel Lousbergh (B), für das Thema Welt des Sports aus Klaus Persch (D), Detlef Motz (D) und Wilfried Müller (D), wird am 15. und 16.09. die eingesandten Bilder beurteilen und die besten Bilder auswählen. Die Sieger erwarten wertvolle Geldpreise, Medaillen und Urkunden.
Die Siegerbilder und eine Auswahl der Annahmen werden in einer großen Ausstellung zusammengefasst und vom 6. bis 28.10.2012 im Großen Kuppelsaal des Rathauses Wemmetsweiler ausgestellt.

La commune de Merchweiler invite les photographes et associations photographiques du monde entier à participer au deuxième salon de photographie internationale à Merchweiler 2012 („2. Internationaler Merchweiler Photosalon 2012“) suite au grand succès de la première édition qui a eu lieu en 2010. La FIAP (Fédération Internationale de L’Art Photographique) et le DVF (Deutscher Verband für Fotografie) parrainent ce concours qui répond à leurs directives. En outre, le salon a été admis au championnat de la FLPA (Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Photographes Amateurs).
Trois catégories sont au concours : Sujet au choix (monochrome / couleur) et « Monde du sport ». Chaque auteur peut envoyer un maximum de 4 photographies par sujet.
Le jury est composé de Heinz Beste (D), Yves Bassi (L) et Daniel Lousbergh (B) pour le sujet au choix et de Klaus Persch (D), Detlef Motz (L) et Wilfried Müller (D) pour le sujet « Monde du sport ». Le jugement aura lieu le 15 et 16 septembre 2012 et les meilleures photographies seront choisies. Les futurs gagnants peuvent s’attendre à la somme de 500 € pour le premier prix et le meilleur auteur du salon, 300 € pour le deuxième prix et 200 € pour le troisième prix, ainsi que des médailles et des diplômes.
Les photographies primées ainsi qu’une sélection des photographies acceptées seront présentées lors d’une grande exposition du 6 au 28 octobre 2012 dans la grande salle à coupole dans la mairie de Wemmetsweiler.

Following the striking success of our first international photo salon 2010 we invite you to take part in its second edition ("2. Internationaler Merchweiler Photosalon 2012“) under the patronage and according to the requirements of FIAP (Fédération Internationale de L’Art Photographique) and DVF (Deutscher Verband für Fotografie). In addition, the photo salon has been admitted to the championship of the FLPA (Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Photographes Amateurs).
Three categories are available: Free subject (monochrome / color) and the subject “World of Sports”. Every author may only enter 4 photographs per category into the competition.
The jury is composed of Heinz Beste(D), Yves Bassi (L) and Daniel Lousbergh (B) for the free subject and of Klaus Persch (D), Detlef Motz (D) and Wilfried Müller (D) for the subject “World of Sports”. The judgment will take place on 15 and 16 September 2012 and the best photographs will be chosen. Several prizes will be awarded, such as prize money: 500,00 € for the best author, 500,00 € for the best print on each subject, 300,00 € for the second best print on each subject, 200,00 € for the third best print on each subject as well as medals and certificates.
The awarded photographs as well as a selection of accepted photographs will be shown in an exhibition from 6 to 28 October 2012 in the cupola hall of the town hall of Wemmetsweiler.
